Iran, Croatia discuss bilateral ties, regional and int’l developments

Belgrade, IRNA – Iran’s ambassador to Zagreb Croatia’s foreign and European affairs minister in a meeting here on Wednesday negotiated on the most important issues related to bilateral ties, as well as regional and international developments.

Ambassador Parviz Esmaili in a meeting with Gordan Grlic-Radman at the Croatian Foreign Ministry in Zagreb exchanged viewpoints on the most important issues related to bilateral ties, as well as regional and international developments.

Implementing the agreements reached by the two countries’ foreign ministers in their recent New York meeting, supporting the comprehensive increasing relations between Iran and Croatia, and the need for taking maximum advantage of the economic opportunities and capacities were the other axes of discussion in the meeting.

The Croatian foreign minister in the meeting appreciated Iran’s cooperation for transfer of Afghan citizens to Croatia, expressing hope that the Vienna negotiations will be resumed faster, and that all sides of the JCPOA should abide by their commitments in the nuclear deal.
